A haunted dormitory in the middle school

As a young teenager, I had always been fascinated by the supernatural. I loved reading ghost stories and watching horror movies, but I never expected that one day, I would be a part of one.

It all started when I was 13 years old and living in a dormitory with my roommate in my middle school. At night, I would often experience sleep paralysis, during which I would see an old woman in a white gown standing beside my bed. It was a terrifying experience, but after a while, I got used to it and stopped feeling afraid.

One night, however, something strange happened. I was in the middle of a sleep paralysis episode when I suddenly fell asleep and found myself in a dream. In my dream, I saw the old woman again, but this time, I wasn’t afraid of her. I don’t know how long she appeared in my dream, but when I woke up, I saw that my roommate was sitting up in bed with sweat on her face.

She told me in a trembling voice that she had just experienced sleep paralysis and saw the same old woman standing at the foot of my bed, staring at me and speaking something that she didn’t understand. We were both scared and didn’t know what to do, but we tried to calm each other down and eventually fell back asleep.

The next day, we told our classmates about what had happened, and they all looked at us with a mixture of disbelief and fear. Some of them told us that the dormitory we were living in was haunted, and that many students had experienced strange phenomena over the years. They told us stories of ghostly apparitions, unexplained noises, and even possessions.

At first, I didn’t want to believe them. I thought they were just trying to scare us, but as the days went by, I started to feel like there was something off about the dormitory. Every night, I would hear strange noises, like footsteps or whispers, and I would feel like something was watching me from the shadows.

One night, I woke up to find the old woman standing at the foot of my bed, just like my roommate had described. But this time, she wasn’t just standing there silently. She was speaking to me in a voice that sounded like it was coming from a distant place. I couldn’t understand what she was saying, but her words sent shivers down my spine.

After that night, I couldn’t sleep in the dormitory anymore. I begged my parents to let me move back home, and eventually, they agreed. I never found out what the old woman wanted or why she appeared to me and my roommate, but I never forgot about her.

Years later, when I was grown up and had my own family, I went back to visit my old school. I asked some of the students if they still experienced any strange phenomena, and they told me that everything was quiet now. But when I asked about the old woman, they looked at me like I was crazy. They had never heard of her.

To this day, I still wonder if it was all just a figment of my imagination or if there really was a ghost haunting the dormitory. But one thing’s for sure: I’ll never forget the old woman in the white gown who visited me in my dreams.
