Encountering the Paranormal: A Terrifying Night in the Cemetery. The story is about a high school student who goes on a bike ride with friends to a town far from their own during winter break. They ride through a dark and muddy path surrounded by graves. The protagonist hears the cries of a baby and sees a white fog that seems to pull them towards something. They fall off their bike and are left disoriented. After returning home, strange things start happening to them, including seeing shadowy figures and hearing the baby’s cries. The protagonist goes back to the hill where they encountered the fog armed with candles and incense. They encounter a woman in a white dress holding a baby, and they black out. The next morning, they wake up among the graves and feel the sense of unease has been shaken off.

It was the winter of 2018, and I was in my final year of high school. During the winter break, I often hung out with my friends, and we would venture out to different towns and explore the countryside. However, one fateful night, we experienced something that would haunt us for the rest of our lives.

We had decided to ride our bikes to a town that was far from our own. The path to the town was treacherous and muddy, with no streetlights to guide us. We didn’t mind the darkness; we were young and fearless, or so we thought.

As I rode, I noticed that the fog was starting to thicken, and I could hardly see the path in front of me. We were in the middle of a hill, surrounded by countless graves. I was uneasy, but I pushed on, determined to reach our destination.

That’s when I heard it: the cry of a baby. At first, it seemed to be coming from in front of me. I stopped, unsure of what to do. Then, the cry seemed to move behind me. I turned around, and there was nothing there. I shrugged it off, thinking it was just my imagination.

But the cry persisted, and it sounded more urgent and desperate with each passing moment. I could feel my nerves fraying, and wondered if I had made a mistake by coming to this desolate place.

Suddenly, I saw something that chilled me to the bone. A white fog had appeared in front of me, like a wall. I didn’t know what to do, but was too scared to turn back. So, I rode my bike into the fog, feeling like I was entering a different world.

As I rode, could hear the cries of the baby getting louder and louder. It felt like I was being pulled towards something, but I didn’t know what it was. And then, something hit me, and I fell off my bike. I hit my head hard, and could feel blood trickling down my face.

I looked around, disoriented and confused, but couldn’t see anything. It was like the fog had swallowed me up. My friends found me and helped me up, but I was terrified. I knew I had encountered something beyond my understanding.

We rode back home as fast as we could, but the experience had shaken us to our core. I couldn’t sleep that night, and couldn’t stop talking about what had happened. I knew that I had met the paranormal, and couldn’t shake off the feeling that I was being watched.

In the days that followed, strange things began to happen to me. I would see shadowy figures in the corners of my rooms, and I would hear the cries of the baby at odd hours of the night. I was too scared to tell anyone, fearing that people would think I was crazy.

But I knew that I had to do something. I couldn’t live my life in fear, and couldn’t let whatever had happened to me continue to haunt me. So, I went back to the hill where I had encountered the fog, armed with candles and incense.

As I walked towards the graves, I could feel a sense of unease growing within me. But I pressed on, determined to find out what had happened that night. I lit the candles and incense, and started to pray.

That’s when I saw her: a woman in a white dress, holding a baby in her arms. She looked sad and lost, and I could feel her pain. I knew that I had found what had been calling out to me that night.

I approached her, unsure of what to do. But she didn’t seem to mind. She looked at me. the next things I could not recall anything back, I must have blacked out because the following morning I woke up, found myself lying on the ground among the graves. I understood I had shaken the feeling off because I have never met something weird since then.
