The first one

When I was eight years old, I experienced something that I will never forget. It was a warm summer night, and I was having trouble falling asleep. As I tossed and turned in my bed, I suddenly caught sight of a man waving at me outside my window. At first, I thought it was just my imagination playing tricks on me, so I rubbed my eyes and sat up to take a better look. But when I looked again, the man was still there, waving at me with a sinister smile on his face.

I was frightened, but I didn’t know what to do. I turned to my grandma, who was sleeping next to me, and told her what I had seen. But she just shushed me and told me to go back to sleep.

The next morning, I woke up with a fever. My grandma was concerned and took me to see a psychic. The psychic told my grandma that I had seen something evil, and she lit some incense to ward off any negative energy.

That same night, my fever miraculously disappeared, but the memory of the man outside my window stayed with me. As I grew older, I often wondered if it was just a hallucination or if there was really something outside my window that night.

To this day, I still can’t explain what I saw, but I know one thing for sure: I’ll never forget that terrifying night.

The second

It was the first year of high school for both me and my roommate, Wang. We were placed together in a dormitory room that was supposed to fit three people but luckily for us, we were the only two occupants. It was a standard room with two beds that were placed side by side, two wardrobes, and a single small window that overlooked the school yard.

One night, Wang and I were both studying under our bed covers, trying to avoid detection by the strict dormitory supervisor who would come around every hour or so to check on the students. We had been studying for a few hours when Wang suddenly asked me if I had heard someone call his name.

I told him that I hadn’t heard anything and went back to reading my book. But a few minutes later, Wang said he heard it again, and this time he described the voice as sounding like his mother’s. I looked up and noticed that the door to our dormitory room was ajar, which was odd because I was sure that I had shut it before we went to bed.

Feeling a little uneasy, I told Wang that he must have been dreaming, and we should go back to sleep. I put my book down and tried to fall asleep, but before long, I heard the sound of the door opening. I assumed that Wang wanted to go to the washroom, so I didn’t think much of it. But as the door slowly creaked open, I couldn’t help feeling a sense of dread.

I put my head under the covers and tried to shut out the noise, hoping that it would all go away. The next thing I knew, I was fast asleep.

Over the next few weeks, things started to get strange in our dormitory room. Wang would wake up in the middle of the night, screaming, and thrashing around. I would wake up to find him sitting upright in his bed, sweating profusely, and muttering under his breath. It was as though he was possessed by something, and it was a terrifying experience.

One night, I decided to stay up and keep watch over Wang, hoping to figure out what was going on. As I watched him, I saw something that chilled me to the bone. His eyes rolled back in his head, and his mouth opened wide, emitting a guttural moan that sounded like it was coming from the depths of hell.

The next day, Wang was running a high fever, and his family came to pick him up. They took him to see a psychic who was known for her ability to see and communicate with ghosts. The psychic told Wang that he had been possessed by a ghost and that the ghost was the one who had been calling out to him.

Wang’s family was alarmed by the news, but the psychic reassured them that she would take care of it. She lit some incense and burned some hell money while chanting a mantra, and after a while, Wang’s fever subsided.

A few days later, Wang returned to school, looking much better than before. I asked him what had happened, and he told me about his visit to the psychic. I was skeptical at first, but when I saw how much better Wang looked, I couldn’t help but believe that there was something to it.
